New Study Available! - Please Get Involved!
Thank you for your ongoing involvement in the South Davis Transit Corridor Project. This e-mail is to inform you that UTA is planning to conduct a public hearing/open house to discuss the findings of the Draft Environmental Study Report (ESR) recently prepared for this project. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Centerville Junior High Multi-Purpose Room (625 South Main Street, Centerville). The Draft ESR examines potential environmental impacts and benefits associated with the construction of a rail line between downtown Salt Lake City and Centerville in South Davis County.
A 30-day comment period will be held between February 15, 2010, and March 16, 2010. During this time the public is invited to submit written comments on the Draft ESR. Comments may be submitted at the public hearing, via the project Website (http://www.rideuta.com/projects/southDavisTransitStudy), or in writing at South Davis Transit Corridor Project, c/o H.W. Lochner, 1245 East Brickyard Rd., Suite 400, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106. A copy of the Draft ESR will be available during regular office hours at the municipal offices of Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, West Bountiful, Bountiful, Centerville, and Farmington. A copy will also be available at the Davis County Library and UTA FrontLines Headquarters (669 West 200 South, Salt Lake City).
